Coastlands CP School had the grand opening of their new outdoor classroom/community pavilion. The school raised over £7,500 from entering competitions such as the WWF’s Green Ambassador Award and other monies came from South Hook LNG and the school’s PTA. ‘This outdoor classroom will add to our outdoor learning environment and it won’t be long before the children and our community partners are getting the best use out of it’ said Head Teacher Mr J Evans.

Cutting of the ribbon to officially “open” the pavilion by Emilia, Caitlyn, Jorja, Ollie, Lily, and Bethany whose work won the original Guardian prize money.   Also attending are Coastlands Headteacher Jeremy Evans, Chair of School Governors Yvonne Evans, PTA Chair Sue Burton, Shane Evans and Alana Harrison of South Hook LNG Terminal Company Ltd, PAVS Funding Development Officer Lorna Livock, PCC Director of Education Kate Evan-Hughes and representatives of St. Ishmaels Community Council.
