Recruitment Process

Before You Apply

In order to comply with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, you will need proof of your right to work in the UK. It is important to point out that without the relevant documentation we will not be able to consider you for any of our vacancies.

You will need to give us the contact details for up to 5 years’ worth of continuous educational or employment references. Make sure their details are up to date, so we can contact them once you have accepted a position with us.

Our Application Process

Our application process is easy to follow, with clear instructions at every stage.

Applications can be received by one of two ways:

1.   Option 1: Application Form

A copy of our application form is available to download below.  This allows you to save it on your home computer and complete it off-line and submit it to, once you are satisfied with your responses. It will take about thirty minutes to complete the application form in one go.

2.   Option 2: CV accompanied by the CV Declaration Form

You can submit a copy of your most recent CV by sending it to All CV’s must be accompanied by a copy of the CV Declaration Form which can be downloaded to your home computer to complete and uploaded with your CV.  CV’s without the Declaration Form will not be considered.

What happens next

Once we have received your completed application, you will receive a response acknowledging receipt.

We will then review this against the set criteria for the position you are applying for.

Unsuccessful candidates should receive an email to inform them that they have not been shortlisted on this occasion after the closing date.

If you are invited for interview, you are advised to arrive fifteen minutes before your interview and report to Security Main Gate in order to undertake the Health & Safety visitor induction.

You will be required to bring with you two forms of identification, including one form of photographic identification (Passport or Driving Licence) and one proof of residence (e.g. utility bill). You will need these documents to allow access to the Terminal. Finally, you will also need to bring with you your relevant certificates and qualifications, including your highest level certificate.
