Road Safety Wales Award

As recognition of South Hook LNG’s positive contribution to Pembrokeshire communities, South Hook LNG was formally recognised for our ongoing support of community safety initiatives, having been nominated by Pembrokeshire County Council. The national organisation, ‘Road Safety Wales’ which works across all twenty two Local Authorities in Wales, presented us with an award, in recognition of our contribution to road safety.

A significant part of our community work has, and continues to focus on educating Pembrokeshire’s young people about safety. Safety is very important to us and we are delighted to be able to be involved in so many safety initiatives, giving out county’s children the opportunity to learn valuable safety lessons across a whole range of different situations.

Working with Pembrokeshire County Council, we continue to support the Crucial Crew Safety event every November, where the Ambulance Trust, Domestic Abuse Forum, Dyfed Powys Police, PCC Food Safety, Maritime Coastguard Agency, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, National Farmers Union, PCC Road Safety, Royal National Lifeguard Institution, PCC School Transport and Western Power Distribution are represented.

South Hook LNG have also supported the ‘Be Safe, Be Bright’ campaign, encouraging all children to be visible during Winter months whilst making their way to and from school.
